Støvla

Støvla (824 m) towers directly above Sørvågen and ranks among the most demanding summit hikes in all of Lofoten. Though the mountain sits right in the local area, this is no easy stroll.

Expect up to four hours each way, long stretches without a trail or markings, and sections where ropes and ladders are needed to get through.

In return, one of Lofoten's most spectacular views awaits at the top — sea in every direction, with Værøy and Røst out on the horizon. The hike calls for solid boots, experience with varied mountain terrain, and ideally local knowledge.
